Stephanie Larragoite

Todd Lowry

Chrys Page

William is a native of Texas but moved to Pennsylvania by the age of 3 where he grew up and attended high school. He moved to Albuquerque after high school to attend UNM and stayed. Over the years, he has studied acting, singing and dancing and has appeared in local productions for Albuquerque Little Theater, The Adobe Theater and with Opera Southwest as well  as singing for several years with the New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus. Some of his favorite roles include Malcolm in The Full Monty and Morgan Earp in Sundown. Ever since William was young doing shows for the neighborhood kids in hisgrandmother’s back yard, he has wanted to be a solo artist and working with UPStaged has afforded him that luxury. Cabaret is a completely different experience from musical theater since there is no "character" to portray and from opera since the performer takes liberties with the music rather than singing strictly what is written in the score. What you see is what you get. "Being naked in The Full Monty was challenging but it doesn’t compare to being "naked" in front of an audience in a cabaret; it’s much more revealing," William recollects. When he is not rehearsing or performing he works as a training, learning and development consultant with Xerox Learning Services.

Stephanie is a local actress and singer. Over the years she has performed at Albuquerque Little Theater (ALT), The Adobe Theater and Musical Theater Southwest (MTS). She was most recently seen in "Noises Off" as Dotty/Mrs. Clackett at ALT. A performance for that garnered her a nomination for ALT's Vivian Award for outstanding lead actress in a comedy. This will be her first time performing with UpStaged and she is having the time of her life!! She is really enjoying the great songs and stories about "Summertime," her favorite season!!! UpStaged performs it's cabaret, "In the Good 'Ole Summertime," on July 11th at the Albuquerque Jewish Community Center.

Todd is a music director, pianist, singer, songwriter and author.
He’s the Albuquerque Music Director for NDI (The National Dance Institute of New Mexico), the Music Director at Unity Spiritual Center, the head organist for Isotopes baseball games, half of the popular duo Kari and Todd and a popular pianist in restaurants and clubs

He’s the author of 17 books about piano styles published by Hal Leonard Corporation, as well as approximately 2,000 published arrangements for piano.

He’s an award-winning songwriter who has recorded 12 CDs, including his most recent album of original songs, “Liittle Hallelujahs.”

Todd says: “I’m happy to be performing once again with UpStaged Cabaret, especially since I now get to sit on the stage and sing a bunch of solos in addition to playing the piano throughout the show. In fact, now that I think about it, I think I should get top billing! Where do you guys think you’d be without me? What are you going to do—all sing a capella? I’m the star! Me! I’m the Piano Man! The manager knows that it’s ME they’ve been coming to see…Need I say more?”

Chrys Page can't remember a time when being on a stage, wasn't the most natural thing on earth for her. From age 5 while performing in the Catskill Mountains of New York with her school chorus, she was hooked...and would rather sing than do anything else.

Born in New York City and raised in uptown Manhattan, across the street from a retirement home, Chrys first sang for the Ziegfield Follies ladies, who lived in the home, and was encouraged to never stop singing, and she hasn’t.

Chrys has had a 55+ year career as a performer, teacher and vocal coach which has included:

Appearing in Summer Stock and Off-Broadway productions,

Appearing on radio and television variety shows throughout the country, and touring with various big bands such as The Tommy Dorsey and Harry James Orchestras.

Chrys has performed in Supper Clubs and Cabaret venues from NYC to LA and dozens of cities in between, has written 5 books on singing and performing, and has starred in many shows including Gypsy, Hello Dolly, Guys ‘n Dolls and Mame. When not performing, Chrys teaches voice and stage presence in Albuquerque.
