VTR Cabaret
VTR Cabaret is a unique cabaret troupe dedicated to presenting authentic, accessible and interactive singing cabaret productions in and around New Mexico. Our shows offer a wide variety of songs ranging from the 1920’s to the present day…from ballads, standards and Broadway show tunes to unique medleys and song combinations of the modern era.
From our unique production under our prior troupe name (UpStaged), “Mahvelous Schmavelous”, which was a sold-out standing ovation hit at the Jewish Community Center, to our most recent Musical Murder Mystery, "Vendetta" at Vernon's Speakeasy, our audiences have been left enchanted and asking for more. Our passion for the art of cabaret stems from the exhilarating experience of exposing our most authentic selves to our audiences with each song and anecdote we share. Shows are produced in intimate settings that allow audience members to sit close enough to laugh, cry and relate to the singers as individual people.

The Cabaret at the J was a phenomenally successful weekend extravaganza! The performers, their song choices (Carole King's -It's too Late to Billy Joel's The Piano Man to a Gershwin Medley, Somewhere over the Rainbow... blended and carried the audience along ...made for a s'wonderful Saturday night and a 'mahvelous' matinee on Sunday. The audience was singing, clapping by the end of both performances with a standing ovation.
